Preventive Measures to Control Allergy Due To Home Furnishing

* In order to stop allergens from collecting in the sofas, curtains and carpet, it wise to clean them using a high efficiency particulate air vacuum cleaner.

* Wipe the all the wooden hard surfaces, mop the floor everyday using a damp cloth.

* Remove all the indoor plants from your home. The soil in the plants is moist that can result in mold growth.

* In your bathroom clean shower curtains, walls & see that there is no water left. You might use a dehumidifier to dry them.

* To remove the dust mites, remove all the feather pillows, upholstered furniture, non-washable quilts and comforters.

* Replace your carpet with wooden flooring.

* Wash the bedding fabric in hot water at a temperature of 130° F.

* At least twice in a year clean the cushions and bolsters in your living room by removing the covers. The best way is to place them in a sealed bag and tear a small portion (big enough to fit in the vacuum nozzle) with hand. Run the vacuum over them. Then beat the cushions, this will prevent dust from spreading all over the place.
Clean the cushion covers and put the cushion back.
