Make it a practice to check underneath all the sinks in your home & check for the pipe leaks. If you think that water is slowly draining then pay attention to the blockages and get them cleaned.

Next is when you get the water bill compare it with the previous ones. If the amount in the bill is same then no worries, but if the there is a vast difference, then turn off all the water appliances and check for the meter.
